Press Inn, an ironing shop based in Hornchurch, London, has kickstarted their 2020 with a new Electrolux Lagoon Advanced Care Wet Cleaning system.

Owner of Press Inn, Jason Hause, has been running the ironing business for 8 years and sub-contracting out any dry cleaning. Keen to increase profits, Jason contacted Wavepoint Group looking for a solution to process dry cleaning in-house.

Michael J Michael, Technical Sales Manager at Wavepoint Group, invited Jason down to their state-of-the-art showroom and testing facility in Feltham to trial Electrolux Professional’s Lagoon Wet Cleaning solution. Previously unaware of the concept of Wet Cleaning, but intrigued by the system’s capabilities to process both laundry and dry cleaning, Jason was keen to find out more.

Jason was wowed by the system’s ability to do both laundry and dry cleaning in the same machine, its eco-friendly credentials, ease-of-use and the plethora of garments it is able to process, including wools, lace, linen and chiffon. Complementing their new eco-friendly, solvent-free cleaning system, Press Inn completed their new laundry set-up with Pony’s range of best-in-class finishing equipment; which included a FormPlus Jacket Former with a built-in 12kw boiler.

Taking into consideration Press Inn’s current machinery, Wavepoint Group designed a new shop layout to maximise space and ensure a better workflow for garment processing. Press Inn were also given a 3-day training session to ensure staff members were fully at ease with the machine’s capabilities.
